A career within External Audit services, will provide you with the opportunity to provide a range of Assurance services and business advice to a variety of clients from small, fast growing clients to large entities. We focus on using the latest technology to reduce the level of manual testing ensuring you will focus on the most valuable areas of client service and on enhancing corporate governance and the reliability of our clients’ information.
We are currently searching for an Audit Associate to join our Assurance team.
As an Associate, you will work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. Essential functions include but are not limited to:
Invite and give in the moment feedback in a constructive manner.
Share and collaborate effectively with others.
Identify and make suggestions for improvements when problems and/or opportunities arise.
Handle, manipulate and analyze data and information responsibly.
Follow risk management and compliance procedures.
Keep up to date with developments in area of specialism.
Communicate confidently in a clear, concise and articulate manner - verbally and in the materials I produce.
Build and maintain an internal and external network.
Uphold the firm's code of ethics and business conduct.

Bachelor Degree with a focus in accounting
0-2 years of related work experience.
Demonstrates some knowledge and/or a proven record of success in Generally Accepted Accounting Principles in the United States (U.S. GAAP), United States Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (U.S. GAAS) and the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB) standards, emphasizing some understanding - for the respective industry - of business and accounting issues, and the technical accounting and financial reporting standards.
Must be able to effectively handle multiple projects/tasks simultaneously in a deadline driven environment
Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve the goals of the organization
Ability to analyze the processes responsible for, recommend efficiencies to the process and implement the improved changes
Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel
Excellent verbal & written communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred/Required Years of Experience:

0-2 years of related work experience.

Salary or Rate of Compensation: commensurate with experience
